I buy my coconut oil from Tropical Traditions. It’s very high quality and yummy! They always seem to be running a sale too,which is a good perk. I use it in a lot of recipes and for sauteing vegetables.
Coconut flour is one of my primary replacements for making treats since moving my family towards a gluten-free lifestyle.
This is the best tasting stevia that I have found. Used in combination with other sweeteners it provides a nice sweet taste without the bitterness found in other brands of stevia. Be careful: a little goes a long way.
This is a high-quality cacao powder full of anti-oxidants and essential minerals. It doesn’t has the same bitter flavor as some other cacao powders but is rich and delightful.
Xylitol is one of my favorite natural sweeteners. It is a wonderful sugar-substitute as it has virtually no impact on insulin and a number of other health benefits.
Almond flour is another replacement I use in place of wheat flour. It’s versatile and can be used in a wide variety of recipes.
Erythritol sweetener is another natural sugar-substitute that I occasionally use. It also has virtually no impact on insulin.
Xanthan Gum is a great thickener, especially if you are avoiding wheat and starch. A little bit goes a long way. Be careful not to use too much or your food will turn out too gummy.
